Using Lightroom 3 for post processing.

Using Adobe Lighroom 3, for editing purpose for my Chengdu holiday photos.

Initial assessment is good.

Pro:
White balance adjustment in jpeg format
Easy editing for highlights and darkness with slider controls
Installed it in my netbook. (now I can post process easily).


Con:
Can't seem to get the burn/dodge and borders I often put in Adobe CS3.

Summary:
Will use both, CS3 and lightroom for post processing.

The winter at Chengdu + JuiZhaiguo (China)

The great holiday to Chengdu.
-weather expected is 5-10C
Actual weather -16C and -8C at the mountains and valley

-Chengdu city was 4C

Juizhaiguo (valley of nine races/tribes)
-Excellent view, with blue mountains and frozen ice. Mostly are waterfalls and lake scenery

Jin Lin:
Chengdu street was decorated with rabbits lanterns and street food was great.
