China: Hangzhao,

The Railway Station at Hangzhao where we went in to buy train (CRH) tickets for the next destination, Shanghai

Below: This was shot in Fei Lei Fong, Hangzhao. The idols on stones are part of four heavenly guardians deities. The appeal is in the trees blending in with the floor making this an ancient appeal. In a sence, rustic and legendary.

Above: One the first day, the temperature dipped to -2C and ice was falling. Since it was raining, the streets were cleared and we like fanatical photographers begin our shooting spree. This was taken in Song Imperial Street, Hangzhao. The buildings were restored to olden times. Many of which lasted hundreds of years, if not more.
ABOVE: At the old streets (Song Imperial Street), lanterns and tanglongs were intentional lit for Chinese New Year. It is normally packed but today, the rain gave us an unique oppurtunity. (minus the freezing temperature).

The grills were unique and hence the doors protects this entrance.

Both shots (ABOVE) were that of Guan Gong, a general and now a deity. The wooden carving is impeccable.
