parrot and the daisy shot for today!
I took this shot a while back but did not post it up. Since the parrot are relative un-afraid of humans, they allowed me to get in close enough to photograph. I think the lens was a zoom at 80mm. This particular parrot or some call it macaw perched a trunk higher. It was a lazy afternoon and macaw prim themselves rather well, therefore it spreads its wings allowing me to capture the exact moment. As the macaw rested in the shades, exposure was a compromised; to keep some details and highlights (bright sunny part).
Here we see some daisies. Daisies have many colors and patterns as seen in my other postings. However, nothing to shout, I like the soft color and the high maroon set upon this flower. My focus was manual and that can be challenging on a small viewfinder. Getting exposure correct without metering proves tricky. Maybe it's time to invest in a proper macro lens.
