This street or should I say river candid was shot in the floating market Damoen Saduak, which is a floating market and a tourist spot,
The ride from Bangkok (capital of Thailand), takes a mere 45-50 mins depending on traffic. We used a small mini-van that seats 7 passengers.
Reaching the market as early as 9 am, we were a few lucky visitors that managed to shop, eat (local food only) and snap photos before the crowd came in. By 10 am, the boats were jammed up and down the river. The guide told us that this was very normal. It's called the "boat jam"
The rental of boat is a mere USD 2.50, that's relatively affordable. For honeymooners, there's personal boat that goes up to USD 15.00, that gives a private tour of the floating market. Clever idea really.
We had a blast of a time here at the floating market and it's like a mini Venice.
