Shinjuku Incident with Jackie Chan, Pavillion

Hi blog,
There I was trying to be a paparazo. Here's Jackie Chan for Shinjuku Incident promo tour.
Suddenly it began to rain just as Jackie and Daniel Wu arrive to meet the fans. Poor me got wet and camera gears got a wash too.

Then I had a lucky break to capture Jackie just as he was about to leave. Apparently his schedule was cut short due to the rain. Read more about this new upcoming movie to be released in Malaysia on 2nd April 2009!

Wikipedia: Shinjuku Incident (traditional Chinese: 新宿事件, Japanese: 新宿インシデント) is an upcoming 2009 Hong Kong film starring Jackie Chan and directed by Derek Yee. Filming began in November of 2007, and is now complete. The film, now in post-production, is being produced by Chan's own film company, JCE Movies Limited. On July 16, 2007, it was officially announced that Chan would take part in the project.[1][2]

It has been stated in many press reports that the genre of the film will be closer to drama than Chan's trademark action. Director Derek Yee reportedly said, "People are too familiar with the image of a fighting Jackie Chan. It’s time for him to move on to drama."[3] In a recent interview, Chan himself describes the film as, "maybe one per cent action. Heavy drama."[4]

Early reports indicated that Chan's son, Jaycee Chan, would also play a role, but this has yet to be confirmed. The film was originally to be released on September 25, 2008 but was delayed to the first quarter of 2009. It was premiered at the 2009 Hong Kong International Film Festival and will be released on 2 April 2009 in Hong Kong and Malaysia!
